About Us
Our Passion
We like to go places where most other’s don’t, remote and organic, pristine and peaceful; places with gravel and dirt roads beckoning us to ride.
Our passion is to find the best places that are not on everyone’s radar, and certainly not where the leading biking tours go. I refer to our destinations as the last best places.
Our Riding
I started riding in the early 70’s in Missoula, Montana. I worked cattle ranches during the summer to pay for Campy upgrades to my bike. There was no lack of great riding in Western Montana through the Swan, Flathead, Bitterroot, Madison and Jefferson Valleys, the Big Hole, the Yellowstone, and Glacier National Park Going-to-the-Sun during autumn equinox, the moon so bright you could read a book.
Our Travels
We were in our mid 20’s when we started traveling abroad; Argentina and Chile for fly fishing, Brazil and Peru, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Egypt, Greece and Turkey, Poland and Czech Republic, and many others.
We’ve tried a few bike tours, but came away knowing we can do it better. Now, the time has come to share our knowledge and expertise with others that share our passions.
Our Tours
I know the best places to ride in Western Montana, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, Arizona, Ukraine, Tuscany, and Costa Brava. Below, are a few of photos of me. Every cyclist knows the bike-paths less travelled are lonely (no photographers) – just us and our bikes.
