Welcome to Gravel Excursions.   Our mission is to be the leader in custom cycling vacations to the places other bike tours don’t go.  We believe they are the last best places, the places less traveled, less ridden, where we are witness to the beauty of these rare and pastoral landscapes, and equally important, to these unusual cultures and peoples.

If you love nature as much as we do cycling, and if you are like us, we ride to be outside, to be in nature and marvel at the life we pass.  This is our nirvana.

Of course, every ride is a good ride;  but we offer epic rides.
